SYNOPSIS:
A gripping, acclaimed drama by a Canadian playwright who wrote it at the age of 23. It takes place at a dinner in which two sets of parents try to come to terms with a case of bullying that led to a tragic outcome for one of their sons. Time Out (London, England) called it “Harrowingly powerful … a superb play, which deals compassionately yet unflinchingly with grief’s desperate search for an answer to the question: Why?”

PREVIEW: EMOTIONAL STAKES ON THE MENU IN DUNDAS LITTLE THEATRE’S “LATE COMPANY”
Emotional stakes are on the menu in Late Company, a play that shines a harsh and necessary light on 21st century society and volatile youth culture, asking the urgent question: are we too late?
I had the pleasure of a virtual interview with director Francesca Brugnano and together, we discuss her creative process with the cast, the show’s themes and how this production will, undoubtedly, impact audiences regarding this ongoing epidemic of bullying within our society.
